Dear Peach

We have a lot of ideas for Peach & Pennant, but we don't want to build our perfect clubhouse. We want to build yours, too.

Because this clubhouse is meant to have a seat for everyone — families and fans, youth players and rink rats, coaches and parents, adult leaguers and weekend warriors, retired champions and the kids dreaming of becoming one.

Whether sports have been part of your life forever or you just found a team you love, there's a place for you here.

And we don't just want your ideas. We want your stories.

We want to hear about the teams you played for, the athletes you looked up to, the games you'll never forget and the people who taught you to love sports.

We want your parents' stories and your grandparents' stories. The women who played when there wasn't a league nearby. The teams that packed into cars and drove hours for a game. The coaches who changed lives. The local champions whose names deserve to be remembered. The jerseys, photos, pennants, scorecards, newspaper clippings and little pieces of sports history that have been sitting in closets and scrapbooks for decades.

We want your sports history on our walls.

Because the history of sports isn't only the history that made national headlines. It's also the history that happened in our neighborhoods, schools, rinks, fields, gyms and backyards.

At Peach & Pennant, we want the champions and pioneers who came before us to live on, while the next generation gets to add their own chapter right alongside them.

So consider this our clubhouse suggestion box — and the beginning of our clubhouse history book.

Tell us what you wish existed. Tell us what you love about sports. Tell us what sports bars could do differently. Tell us what would make you bring your family, your team, your old teammates or your friends and stay awhile.

And tell us the stories you don't want forgotten.

There are no wrong answers, and you don't have to answer everything. We just want to hear from you.

History on the walls.
Her game on the screen.
Community around the table.
